Our Staff - Kayla Stinson, Nurse Practitioner
Kayla was born and raised in Fairfield, Illinois. A small town in southern Illinois.She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Murray State University in 2005. She continued her education at University of Louisville where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2012. She is board certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
Kayla has always had a passion for healthcare. As a teenager, she volunteered at her local hospital and later worked as a nursing assisting while earning her bachelor’s degree. After working as a registered nurse, she decided to further her education so she could provide even more comprehensive care to her patients as a nurse practitioner.
She strives to make patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and enjoys helping them find realistic ways to live healthier lifestyles. As a Nurse Practitioner, Kayla will be able to answer many of your concerns regarding your individual health needs, as well as perform exams, order lab procedures and write prescriptions.
She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP).
Kayla, her husband Josh, and their two children reside in Georgetown, Indiana. In addition to family activities, Kayla enjoys running and other outdoor activities.
