Amanda Stemler, Nurse Practitioner
Amanda was born in Louisville, KY and grew up right here in New Albany, IN.
She received a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2018 from Purdue University Northwest after getting her Associates in Nursing at Ivy Tech. She went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University in 2021. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Amanda worked on the Labor and Delivery unit at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital for over five years as a registered nurse caring for routine as well as high risk obstetric patients. Amanda also served as a part-time clinical instructor for the Ivy Tech Obstetrics Nursing Program while obtaining her Master’s Degree.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Amanda will be able to answer many of your concerns regarding your individual health needs, as well as perform exams, order lab procedures, and write prescriptions.
She is a member of the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana, the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Amanda and her husband Lance reside in Sellersburg, IN with their two sons.
