The moment you've waited for has finally arrived. You've made it through labor and delivery, now what can you expect? The postpartum period comes with a variety of symptoms, some physical and some emotional. As with labor, every person's postpartum period is unique. Your physician will discuss what's normal and what's not normal and when medical care should be obtained.
