Prenatal Tests and Procedures
Your physician will use many tests and procedures to monitor the well being of your baby. These can range from screening bloodwork to procedures done in the office, or at the hospital. These tests can also alert your physician to problems that may indicate special care that will be needed during your pregnancy. Several common tests are listed to the left and discussed in greater detail.
No testing is 100 % accurate. Open communication with your physician can answer questions and eliminate fears associated with prenatal testing.
