Our Staff - Dr. Heather Lewis
Dr. Lewis was raised on Cape Cod Massachusetts. She graduated from Auburn University in 2000 and received her Medical Degree from the University Of South Alabama College Of Medicine in 2004. Her postgraduate training was done at the University of Louisville, completing a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2008.
Dr. Lewis joined Ob/Gyn Associates of Southern Indiana in 2008. She has been a board certified Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 2013 and maintains current recertification. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, the American Medical Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. She is a member of the Floyd County Medical Society and the Indiana State Medical Association. She is also a Clinical Instructor in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Lewis resides in Southern Indiana with her husband and four children. In addition to family activities, she enjoys running, reading, and travel.
