After Hours Emergency Call Policy 

After normal office hours, a physician will always be on call for urgent problems. Our answering service is available after hours at 812-748-2167. When you call, the on-call physician will be paged.  There may be a fee for non-emergent calls.

If you think you are in labor or your water has broken, please go to Baptist Health Floyd Hospital Emergency Room and they will contact the on-call physician. 

If you have an acute infection that needs to be treated, we recommend you seek care at an immediate care center in your area. 

It is our policy that the on call physician will not call in pain medications. If you are in need of pain medication, you must be seen by a physician.
